Professional development

After graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue in 1989, Dr. Todd Myers, DVM worked as an associate small animal veterinarian in Indiana and Virginia.

In 1995, Dr. Myers started his own small animal clinic in Phoenix, Maryland, which is a suburb of Baltimore.

After selling the Phoenix, Maryland clinic in 2000, Dr. Myers worked for Banfield Animal Hospital and transferred to Akron, Ohio. While in Ohio, he trained in California under Dr. Marvin Mackie, a world-renowned pediatric spay/neuter specialist.

Dr. Myers purchased Machias Veterinary Clinic in the summer of 2006.

After graduating from Cornell in 1966, he joined our staff at Machias Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian, and became an owner of the clinic in 1967. He sold his ownership interest in 1995, but remained on staff as an associate veterinarian.
